Module 3: Using Twitter: Exploring Twitter; combining Twitter with other social media; networking with Twitter; Twittiquette; Twitter applications; measuring Twitter metrics. Assignment: create and customise your Twitter page.
Module 4: Blogs and Vlogs: Creating a blog or vlog; linking your blog to social media; attracting new traffic to your blog and website; harnessing the full power of social media. Assignment: creating a blog or overhauling an existing one, linking all social media streams with your blog and website.
Module 5: Other Social Media Sites: Exploring other social media sites, Ning, Myspace, Flickr, Quora, and others; bookmarking sites; social mobile and social mapping; coupons, discounts and freebies. Assignment: Building your social media presence, planning for the future.
Module 6: Bringing it all together: Viral marketing and your business; creating a link wheel for your business; multiply your impact; integrating e-mail; PR and press releases; integrating paid advertising. Assignment: Create a link wheel for your business. Final mentor assessment of your social media strategy and suggestions for the future.
